Google Chops Picnik

The online photo editing tool Picnik that has a strong legion of firm followers and users is due to close its service on the 19th April, after owners Google chose to scrap it in a recent cull of some of its services in the quest to steam line its business model.

The site which previously offered a full range of tools for paid premium members and some tools completely free for all users is said to be having some of it is features worked in to Google’s social networking platform Google although which ones and exactly how it will be integrated are yet to be made clear
